No we don’t have any interstate outlets/fitters. However we do ship a lot of our standard systems Australia wide with DIY Installation Kits, so you can install it yourself from home. Search your vehicle on our Home page to find out whether Interstate Shipping is available for your vehicle/system!

All of our systems have been specifically designed to be quick and easy to remove. Our systems are installed/removed in a component (modular) format… Like a big meccano set!

This makes it super easy for anybody to remove and re-install our gear whenever they need to. You don’t need any special skills or tools, and we can give you written instructions which tell you exactly how to take it in and out. 🙂

As mentioned above – you don’t need to have any experience, special skills or tools! We provide you with comprehensive step-by-step fitting instructions which show you exactly how to install the system, what bolts to use and where, etc. We also provide you with a complete nut/bolt/washer kit, and we are always on the other end of the phone if you’re unsure of anything.

When it comes to removing the system, again it’s very simple. Our systems have been specifically designed to be easy to remove and re-fit. We have written instructions that show you how to remove the system step by step as well after its initial fitting.

This varies for everybody and depends on the system you purchase too.

If you purchase something simple like our Low Profile Unit, allow a couple of hours to complete this Installation.

However if you purchase our Touring Unit , we would recommend allowing a full day to install this – just so you can take your time with it and get your head around it all. It’s still a straight-forward Install, there’s just a lot more components to it – it’s actually quite a fun DIY project to put together!

Once our gear has been installed the first time, it then comes in and out very quickly. Especially because you already know how it goes in!

Usually anywhere between 2 – 5 hours, depending on the vehicle and system you’re after.

Custom build jobs can take anywhere between 2 – 7 business days and can only be completed in our Hallam factory, as they are custom fitted to the specific vehicle.

Our Drawers are made of galvanised sheet metal with steel roller bearings. They have been built to withstand the toughest corrugations.

Our Soft Luggage Racks and Fridge Slides are made of powder-coated steel. Our Fridge Slides have linear rollers, so they’re really smooth and easy to use. And we utilize rubber bump stops throughout to stop the annoying rattles that drive us all mad!

The rest of our gear is made from a mix of hard and light plyboard, finished with marine carpet.

We are extremely conscious of weight (as is everyone these days!), without compromising on the quality and durability of our gear.

We only have one colour carpet available, which goes really well with all interior colours. It is a neutral charcoal colour with a white speckle (see photo below)

If you have tan colour interior in your vehicle – don’t worry – it looks good! It’s better to contrast colours than to try and match.

We always use pre-existing vehicle bolt holes to secure our gear wherever possible, so we don’t need to drill your vehicle – it stays as standard.

All of our systems start with a False Floor. The False Floor is the foundation for the rest of the system. It’s bolted into place using the pre-existing bolt holes in your vehicle wherever possible. The rest of our gear then bolts on top.

Note: There are some vehicles we do need to drill the vehicle, as they don’t have pre-existing bolt holes available, such as: the 76 Series, Fortuner & Dual Cab vehicles. Feel free to contact us for more info on this.

We have two types of drawers here: 980mm long and 780mm long.

780mm:
Externally = 780mm L x 510mm W x 300mm H
Internally = 740mm L x 410mm W x 235mm H

980mm:
Externally = 980mm L x 510mm W x 300mm H
Internally = 940mm L x 410mm W x 235mm H

Note: We do not customize our drawer sizes – sorry!

Take a look at our Spec Sheet. This will tell you the three different Fridge Slide sizes we have available, and example Fridges that suit. However double check with us, as some vehicles are too narrow to fit the bigger Fridge Slide options. And sometimes we have tricks up our sleeve to make odd-shaped Fridges fit our setup.

Any Cargo Barriers that aren’t our own Fourby Fitouts brand will not be compatible. This is because we get our Cargo Barriers custom made to suit our modular and removable design.

We may be able to customize our system to suit your Cargo Barrier, but there is generally a lot of extra work and cost involved in doing this – so you’re better off selling your Cargo Barrier, and purchasing one of our standard systems with our Cargo Barrier already included.

If you have your own Fridge Slide – we may be able to incorporate it into our System, depending on its external dimensions and overall design. However again, it usually works out better for you to sell your current Fridge Slide and purchase ours, so you know everything fits together as it should.

When you place an order, we will require a deposit to confirm it. Normally this is $500.00 (depends on what you have ordered).

Your deposit confirms your order and gives you an Install/Shipping date. Your order moves into production and we send you an Order Confirmation. Then the remaining balance of your order is due on your Install date when you pick up the vehicle, or on your scheduled shipping date prior to despatch.

Everything is made to order here, so we normally have around a 3 – 4 week lead-time at any given stage. However sometimes we can have a 6 week lead-time during really busy periods (March – June & Christmas) – so make sure you get in early 🙂
